Stuart’s recent entry about Twitter caught my eye, as tends to happen whenever I read or hear of some new online gadget. And while I’m just starting to investigate and see who else is already hooked up in this little IM/blog hybrid, initial observations indicate that the service is rather neat.

Twitter asks the question “What are you doing?” and expects you to answer. Succinctly. In 144 characters or less. With the network, you can add contacts (think Flickr) and find out exactly what they are doing and when they are doing it.

Considering that I just joined, I now know precisely what two people are doing — but it’s a start. Are you on Twitter? Are you about to sign up because I made it sound so interesting? Lovely. Add me.
